No, this is not a Blog to teach your wife how to navigate when you’re driving – its the name for our GIS and Mapping blog! And with that first sentence I’ve probably alienated half of the readers – so sorry, it was just a joke! Seriously though, there probably aren’t that many resources on the web dedicated to CAD for the mapping sector, so we hope to be able to plug a bit of a gap and share some insight into the world of CAD and GIS, and in particular we will be looking at AutoCAD Map 3D, with a bit of MapGuide and other technologies thrown in. If mapping is your thing, even if you already use another system and want to learn a bit about the CAD side of GIS, then this is the place to come. We’ll be sharing some workflows, tips and tricks, as well as discussing product issues and general industry trends. Your feedback is important too, so please feel free to comment on the posts.
